BURUMORI는 ‘약함을 긍정하는 것’과 ‘가학심’을 주제로 2022년부터 제작을 시작하였습니다. 브루모리라는 주인공(햄스터)은 압도적으로 약한 존재입니다. 약자가 강자에 대한 원망과 질투를 가지는 패배주의적인 사고, 네거티브한 감정은 인간이 가진 순수한 하나의 심정으로 표현됩니다.
BURUMORI의 작품은, 그 속에서도 일어서기 위해 열심히 살아가는 모습이 그려져 있습니다. 약한 것을 억압하고 싶다고 생각하는 것은 사람이 살아가면서 겪을 수밖에 없는 성장 과정 중 하나이며 그 감정 속엔 현실 세계에서의 폭력이 억제 될 수 있는 가능성이 있습니다.
BURUMORI has been creating works with the themes of 'embracing weakness' and 'resentment' since 2022. The protagonist, named Burumori (a hamster), is an overwhelmingly weak presence. The defeatist mindset of harboring resentment and jealousy towards the strong, along with negative emotions, is expressed as a pure sentiment inherent in humans.
In BURUMORI's artworks, the depiction of striving to stand up is evident. The desire to suppress weakness is considered a natural part of the human growth process, and within those emotions lies the possibility of inhibiting violence in the real world.
